This women's informal court robe is embellished with the many Chinese symbols for woman - urns, flowers and butterflies, embroidered over silk brocade. The black silk ribbon, embroidered with flowers in an ombre of color from white to blue is a favorite trim in the latter part of the Qing Dynasty.
